The Royal Nore

Woods’ Silver Fleet bring you exclusively for hire, The Royal Nore, the Royal barge of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. With a capacity of up to 30 guests, it is the ideal venue for the more intimate of gatherings, celebratory dinners and reception drinks.

The Royal Nore has a five star restaurant standard kitchen onboard, with the ability to produce anything from Fabulous Feasts by Jamie Oliver’s formal dinner menus to their more informal canapés and bowl foods. Woods’ Silver Fleets’ very own Krysztof Bielski is personally responsible for selecting the drinks served onboard The Royal Nore. Krysztof is a master at developing bespoke cocktails, so that his creations are the perfect compliment for individual events onboard the royal barge.

The interior of The Royal Nore has recently been refurbished, maintaining its high quality, traditional craftsmanship throughout. This is a classic royal yacht, designed and built in a time-honoured nautical style. The open air wooden upper deck, is matched with bespoke cherry wood paneling in the lounge and dining area below.

A dark brown leather upholstered banquette provides seating for informal drinks, or afternoon tea. Irish Ulster Wool carpeting and Lloyd Loom chairs, all conform to an inherent sense of great British style, whilst at the same time bringing an air of self-indulgence onboard.

Up to 16 guests can be seated for dinner onboard, making The Royal Nore ideal for business meetings, as well as private celebrations for the closest of companions.

The Captain and Crew of The Royal Nore have many years of experience navigating The Thames, and are able to advise on specific routes and timings along the river, according to tidal timings, taking in all the major sights and landmarks. From The Houses of Parliament, to Shakespeare’s Globe, Tower Bridge and down to Greenwich and the 02, the sights are a wonder to see, both old and new. Almost any pier along the river is accessible from the Royal Nore, with the Woods’ Silver Fleet vessels having exclusive private access to The Savoy Pier, ideal for central London transport links. Embarkation and disembarkation points are carefully planned for each private charter event, anywhere between Chelsea Harbour and Greenwich’s O2 dome.
