Silver Fleet’s management team would be delighted to assist you in creating a bespoke experience onboard the Silver Fleet vessels.

With a wealth of knowledge and understanding of the industry in events ranging from Royal household dinners to premier sporting hospitality, the management team has over 300 years of combined events experience.


Alan Woods

Chairman

Our Chairman, appointed as waterman to HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1981, has since retired from this role and now acts as Extra Waterman to HM The Queen. It is Alan’s vision that has built every Woods’ Silver Fleet boat and maintained our unwavering commitment to quality.


Sir Stephen O’Brien (CBE)

Deputy Chairman

Our Deputy Chairman, Sir Stephen O’Brien (CBE), is also Chairman of Barts Health NHS Trust, International Health Partners, Young Working London and Water City Developments. He has recently been appointed as Chairman of Ed Miliband’s Mental Health in Society Task Force.

Additionally he is Vice President of Business in the Community, and Trustee/Director of the Mayor’s Fund for London, Barts and the London Charity and Sports and Health Partnership.


Thomas Woods

Managing Director

Our Managing Director and fifth generation Thames Waterman – Tom is enjoying taking the Woods’ Silver Fleet into the 21st century with new and modern ideas, whilst upholding to the Woods’ Silver Fleet’s traditions of innovation, style and service.


Kate Woods

Design and Development Director

Since 1997, Kate Woods has created the new look Woods’ Silver Fleet brand, linking the company through contacts and her expertise with the best architects, manufacturers, graphic designers, London landmarks and media.


William Woods

Director

With a career spanning over fourteen years within the family business, William has worked in every department. Knowing every aspect of the company and using this knowledge to maintain and improve the ethos that Woods’ Silver Fleet stand for, he now sits on the board of Directors and brings this experience to front line sales ensuring clients always experience the very best that Woods’ Silver Fleet has to offer.


Jennifer Murray

Head of Sales and Marketing

Jennifer has over 10 years experience in the luxury events and unique venues industry, both in independent and global brands. She brings to Woods’ Silver Fleet a wealth of experience and expertise in building robust and successful sales & marketing plans.
